           Purpose Built Refuge




Preston Domestic Violence Service in conjunction with Contour housing have built Preston's very own purpose built refuge.  The refuge has 15 self contained units, including an adapted unit for those with disabilities.   We also have a communal lounge and a fabulous Garden area for the children (Photos of this to be added soon)

The Children's play room, a full equipped play room for the children, complete with a little restroom.  Our Qualified children's workers hold Play sessions here for the children in the refuge.

One of the kitchens, each unit has its own design, so not all units will be the same. They are all fully equipped including   washing machines

Each Flat has a Lounge, Kitchen Bathroom and Bedroom all furnished.

We have a disabled equipped unit, with a specialised bathroom and kitchen units that can be adjusted. The doors in this unit are wider to allow for the use of wheelchairs
